Process

Simple, transparent, welcoming

Our admissions process is designed to understand your child holistically — not just their academic record.

Submit Application

Complete the online application form. Upload required documents: birth certificate, previous school reports (last 2 years), and a recent passport photo.

Assessment Session

Shortlisted applicants are invited for a 60-minute assessment appropriate to their grade level. Early Childhood applicants have a play-based observation instead.

Family Interview

A 30-minute informal conversation with our Admissions Director and class teacher. We want to understand your child, your family's values, and your expectations.

Offer Letter

Successful applicants receive an offer letter within 5 working days of the interview. The offer includes placement year, class, and fee schedule.

Accept & Enrol

Accept your offer, pay the enrolment fee, and complete the health, media, and emergency contact forms to secure your child's place.

Welcome Orientation

All new students and families attend a half-day orientation before the term begins. Meet teachers, see classrooms, and make new friends.

Fee Structure

A detailed fee schedule is provided with your offer letter. Fees vary by grade level. Payment plans are available. A limited number of merit-based scholarships are offered annually.

When does the academic year start?

The EduVerse academic year runs from January to November, with two semesters. New students typically start at the beginning of Semester 1 (January) or Semester 2 (May), subject to availability.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes. Families with two or more children enrolled at EduVerse receive a 10% sibling discount on tuition fees for the second and subsequent children.

Do you offer scholarships?

We offer a limited number of merit-based scholarships each year for Grade 1, Grade 6, and Grade 10 entry. Applications are reviewed alongside admission. Financial need bursaries are also available — please enquire directly with the Admissions Director.

What is the school's language of instruction?

English is the primary language of instruction for all subjects. Sinhala and Tamil are taught as first or second languages from Grade 1, and French is available as an elective from Grade 6.

Is transport available?

Yes. EduVerse operates school bus routes covering most areas of Colombo and surrounding districts. Route availability and fees can be confirmed during the enrolment process.

Can my child join mid-year?

Mid-year admissions are occasionally possible where places are available. Contact our Admissions Director to enquire. All mid-year applicants follow the standard admissions process.
