Before You Apply
Eligibility Criteria
Luminary Foundation awards grants to registered non-profit organisations, government education bodies, and accredited academic institutions. We do not award grants to individuals or for-profit entities.
Registered Non-Profit
Must hold valid non-profit status in your country of registration.
Education Focus
Primary mission must be education access, quality, or equity.
Measurable Outcomes
Project must include clear, measurable beneficiary impact metrics.
Active Operations
Organisation must have been operationally active for a minimum of two years.
Grant Sizes
Funding Ranges
Seed Grant
USD 10,000 – 50,000
Pilot projects and new programme testing. Single-year awards.
Programme Grant
USD 50,000 – 250,000
Established programmes with demonstrated impact. One to three years.
Strategic Grant
USD 250,000 – 1,000,000
System-level interventions and policy-linked initiatives. Up to five years.
Lead Grant
USD 1,000,000+
Transformational partnerships by invitation. Multi-year, co-designed.
