Planning & Booking
We recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance for standard experiences and 6–8 weeks for leadership retreats and large group experiences. For events in peak season (December–April), book earlier. We do sometimes accommodate short-notice requests — reach out and we'll see what we can do.
Occasionally, yes — depending on facilitator availability and venue logistics. Contact us directly and we'll be transparent about what's possible. For short notice, a custom build is less likely; we'd suggest one of our established programmes.
Group size, date(s), location preference, your primary goal (trust, communication, leadership, fun, or a mix), approximate budget, and any constraints (dietary needs, mobility, travel radius). The more we know, the faster we can propose something great.
Absolutely. For overnight retreats especially, we encourage a site visit. For day experiences, we can arrange a walkthrough or provide a detailed venue brief with photos and logistics overview.
The Experience Itself
All our outdoor experiences have adapted pathways. We design with inclusivity as a default, not an afterthought. Let us know about any mobility, health, or physical considerations at the time of booking and we'll ensure full participation is possible for everyone.
It varies. Every experience listing includes an intensity rating (Low, Low–Medium, Medium, High). Our Summit Challenge and River & Rope are our most physically demanding. The Build Lab and Story Sprint require no physical exertion. We'll always match intensity to your group's profile if you let us know their range.
Yes — always. The debrief is where the majority of the transformation happens. Our facilitators use structured debrief models to surface insight, name team dynamics, and guide your team toward specific action commitments they carry back to work.
Most of our outdoor experiences are designed to run in light to moderate rain — it actually adds to the challenge and realism. For heavy weather, we have contingency plans for every programme. We monitor conditions from 48 hours out and communicate clearly with you.
Yes, for larger groups. We often run split-group formats where different sub-teams rotate through two experiences, then converge for a shared debrief. This is a great way to maximise a full-day event.
Logistics & Practicalities
We can arrange transport for groups on request — it's not included as standard but can be added. We work with trusted transport partners across Sri Lanka and can coordinate pickup from your office or a central point.
Our minimum is 6 participants. Our maximum for a single-programme experience is around 80–100 depending on the format. For larger organisations, we run multi-group concurrent programmes. We've facilitated single events for 240+ people across simultaneous sites.
Many of our creative workshops and some leadership programmes can run at your venue or a venue of your choice. Outdoor challenges typically require specific terrain and are run at our established locations. We'll advise based on your programme choice.
All programme design, facilitation, equipment, materials, and post-experience debrief. For retreats: venue, accommodation, and meals are costed separately in your proposal. We price transparently — no surprise additions.
Pricing & Payment
We price per-person for most programmes, with a minimum group size guarantee. Leadership retreats are priced as a flat programme fee covering facilitation, plus a separate venue and accommodation cost. We provide a full itemised quote with every proposal.
Yes. Organisations that book multiple experiences per year or have 100+ participants can access a preferred partner rate. Speak to us about an annual programme agreement.
We require a 40% deposit at booking confirmation, with the balance due 7 days before the experience. For new clients, full payment may be required in advance for experiences under LKR 100,000.
Cancellations more than 21 days before the experience: full deposit refund. 14–21 days: 50% deposit retained. Less than 14 days: full deposit forfeited. Postponements to a future date within 6 months are accommodated once at no cost.
