Every product we export meets the most rigorous international food safety, quality, and dietary compliance standards — with documentation to prove it.
In international food export, certification is not optional — it is the minimum barrier to entry for regulated premium markets. At Cellar & Grove, we treat certification management as a core competence, not an afterthought.
Our certification team maintains a live registry of all active certificates across the entire portfolio — tracking issuing bodies, renewal dates, scope of coverage, and market applicability. Every export shipment is accompanied by a complete market-specific documentation package.

D.O.P. / A.O.P. / I.G.P. / P.D.O.
We source and accurately certify numerous products with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO/DOP/AOP) or Protected Geographic Indication (PGI/IGP) status — including Ibérico ham, Balsamic of Modena, La Mancha saffron, and more.
Obtaining a certification is just the first step. The harder work is maintaining it — across hundreds of products, dozens of producers, and two dozen export markets. Here's how we do it.
Before visiting any producer, we conduct a full documentation pre-screen — verifying that claimed certifications are current, issued by recognised bodies, and applicable to the specific products in question.
Every producer in our portfolio receives a mandatory on-site visit from our team. We physically verify storage conditions, labelling practices, and operational compliance with every certification held.
We maintain a centralised certification calendar that tracks expiry and renewal dates for every certificate across every product. Expired certifications trigger immediate product hold until renewal is confirmed.
Our export documentation team prepares market-specific certificate packages for every shipment — ensuring that the correct certification copies, translation certificates, and attestations accompany every order.
